Participants and applications

The course is designed for higher education lecturers and professors who teach, or will teach, non-linguistic academic subjects using English as a medium of instruction. Participants should be non-native English speakers with an intermediate level (B2) or above in English. At the end of the course, participants will receive an attendance certificate.

A minimum of 15 and a maximum of 25 participants will be admitted.

The Winter School fee is € 250 (+22% VAT) per participant. This includes the 5-day course, a conference bag with reading material, coffee breaks and lunches, several guided tours in Padua, and the social dinner. Participants are required to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses. Further details on the payment of registration fees will be available soon.

Each application must be in English and should include 1) a short CV; 2) a motivation letter (max 500 words). The online form for submission of applications is available hereDeadline for applications is December 10, 2015.

Applications will be selected based on the participants’ CV, international representation, and equal gender opportunities. Incomplete applications and applications presented in other languages than English will not be considered. Decisions will be sent to applicants by December 20, 2015.

Due to the large number of applications received, results of the selection process will be emailed to candidates by December 23.
